The Buckeyes face Virginia Tech on Sept. 7th but they will be without four very good players for  “violating Department of Athletics policy”, according to a school announcement. Academic failure and use of marijuana are the rumored offenses.

Joey Bosa, Dontre Wilson, Jalin Marshall and Corey Smith are the violators, and they’re essential pieces to this well oiled machine.

Defensive end Bosa was an All-American last season and was named the 2014 Big Ten defensive lineman and player of the year. In his sophomore season last year, He had a very impressive 21 tackles for loss and 13 sacks.

Smith caught 20 passes for 255 yards in 2014 and was one of the obvious key replacement for receivers Evan Spencer and Devin Smith, both have left for the NFL.

Marshall and Wilson are Half-backs, combining for than 2,000 yards in offense and 11 touchdowns last season.

You would think that any team who lose these caliber of players would be worried? Not to mention you a have very dangerous Virginia Tech team on the radar. The way college football is, you lose one game, then its a coin toss. Who really knows how the final rankings for the playoffs turn out?

Hell No! not Ohio St. Football and Urban Meyer. They just simply go to their quality pipeline of players and keep that well oiled machine going, without missing a beat.

If you remember, they lost last year preseason Heisman trophy favorite (QB) Braxton Miller to a shoulder injury in August. Miller has an impressive record under Urban Meyer, he’s 22-2 and finished 5th in 2012 Heisman balloting.

Without any worries J.T. Barrett stepped in and went 11-1 as a starter and finished 5th in 2014 Heisman voting. But then he breaks his leg in the final regular season game last November. Now who is this fella Cardale Jones to take his spot? Well all this guy Jones do is, WIN! The Big Ten Championship, Sugar Bowl and the College Football Playoff National Championship. I don’t know how to explain that but, one comes to my head….. is Urban Meyer the best Coach in college in football? Hell even Tebow is mention as one of the best QB’s in college football. That should say a lot.
